Details
A full-sleeve shirt in 140 GSM handloom cotton woven in Bhuj, Kachchh, in 60s two-ply yarn. Two-ply is the difference between a shirt that pills in six months and one that is still smooth in three years. The collar and cuffs are interlined with cotton, not fused with plastic, which is why they stay flat instead of bubbling after a dozen washes. Single-needle armholes, flat-felled side seams, a back yoke with a box pleat. Yarn-dyed with azo-free dyes so there is no bleed, only a slight softening of tone over the first year. Pre-shrunk to under 2 percent.
