Privacy Policy
Last updated July 23, 2026
This policy explains how the Shuunnya LifeStore (shuunnya.com, operated by Shuunnya Private Limited, under incorporation) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information, and the rights you have. We are the data fiduciary for the information you give the LifeStore. The LifeStore is currently a preview and not yet live for orders; sections about payments and orders describe how things will work once it goes live.
Information we collect
When you create an account
- A username and password, to create and secure your account. We do not require an email address.
- Your date of birth, used to confirm you are 18 or older (the LifeStore is for adults only).
- Optional profile details you choose to add (such as a display name, phone number, or communication preferences).
- A record of your acknowledgement of these terms and this policy, and of any consent you give.
When you shop or book
- The items you order or enquire about, and your delivery or service address and phone number, to fulfil your order or appointment.
- A payment reference only. When online payment is live, it is handled by our payment partner; we receive a reference to confirm payment and never store your card or full payment details.
When you use other features
- Support and help messages (including any images you attach) about an order or booking.
- Reviews you post, shown with your chosen display name.
- Pulse video consultations - these are live and not recorded; to connect the call your browser shares network information (see "Sharing", below).
- HelpAI assistant - the text of your questions is processed to answer them; anonymous chats are not stored.
Automatically
- Basic technical and security data that our infrastructure records to keep the site working and safe - such as device type, approximate region, pages viewed, and IP address, kept for security and fraud-prevention.
- Essentials kept in your browser (cart, saved items, preferences) - see our Cookie & Storage Policy. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use your information, and our lawful basis
- To provide what you asked for - your account, orders, deliveries, appointments, support, and reviews (this is the basis for most of what we do: giving you the service you requested).
- To run, secure, and improve the LifeStore, and to prevent abuse and fraud.
- To meet legal obligations - tax and accounting, security, content moderation, and handling your requests.
- To send marketing updates - only if you opt in. This is based on your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time, as easily as you gave it.
Order and appointment status messages you need for a purchase are part of providing the service, and are not marketing.
Sharing - who receives your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the trusted providers needed to run the LifeStore, and only as required:
| Provider | What for |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosting, security, and content delivery; the AI service that powers HelpAI; and the real-time service that carries live Pulse calls. |
| Razorpay | Processing online payments (once live). Payments are handled in India. |
| Delhivery / Shiprocket | Delivering your orders (name, address, and phone needed for delivery). |
| Google Firebase / FCM | Delivering push notifications to the Shuunnya app, if you use it. |
| Others you interact with | Where you choose to enquire or check out over WhatsApp; and content loaded on some pages (Google Fonts, OpenStreetMap and Google Maps for maps, and Cloudflare and Google STUN during a live Pulse call). See the Cookie Policy. |
We may also share information where the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of people and the LifeStore.
Video consultations (Pulse)
Pulse consultations are live only and are not recorded. To connect a call, your browser exchanges network information (including your IP address) with Cloudflare and Google STUN servers - this is how video calls establish a connection. The health- or advice-adjacent nature of a consultation is treated with extra care.
Where your information is processed
We use globally distributed infrastructure, so some information may be processed outside India. Payment data is stored in India, in line with Reserve Bank of India requirements. Cross-border processing follows the framework permitted under Indian law.
How long we keep it
- Generally, for as long as your account is active and you need the service.
- Order and booking records are kept for about eight years, to meet tax and accounting law, even after other data is removed. We strip the personal details around them - your name, delivery address, contact and any notes - and keep only the transaction record itself.
- Complaints, grievances and reports you send us are kept as evidence that we handled them, together with the response deadlines we are held to. When you delete your account we replace your identity on those records with a one-way code, so the record survives but no longer points back to you.
- Reviews you have written are not removed from the product; your identity is detached from them, so the review stays without naming you.
- Backups. We keep encrypted backups so we can recover from a failure. Deleting your account removes your data from our live systems straight away; copies already inside a backup are not edited individually and age out as that backup is replaced.
- Information kept in your browser stays until you clear it or your browser does.
- We remove or de-identify information we no longer need.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and know how it is processed and who it is shared with.
- Correct or complete inaccurate information.
- Erase your information. Most of it is deleted outright. The exceptions are listed under "How long we keep it" above: the transaction record behind an order or booking is kept and minimised under tax law, complaint and report records are kept but de-identified, and reviews stay on the product with your identity detached.
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights on your behalf if you are unable to.
- Withdraw consent (for example, to marketing) at any time.
- Raise a grievance about how your data is handled.
To make a request, contact us using the details below or on our Grievance page. We aim to respond within 90 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children and users outside India
The LifeStore is for adults (18+) and is not directed at children; we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. For visitors from other countries, we also do not knowingly collect information from children under the age set by their local law (for example, under 13 under the U.S. COPPA, or under 16 where the EU GDPR applies). If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.
Security and data breaches
Your information is protected with industry-grade security practices on enterprise-grade infrastructure. No system is ever perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep your data safe and to limit what we collect. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify affected users without undue delay - through your in-account notifications and, if enabled, app push - and report it to the Data Protection Board of India within the time the law requires (within 72 hours where mandated).
When you sign out, delete your account, or we end a session, access is revoked immediately at the point that issued it. Because we serve the LifeStore from data centres around the world, a session already in flight elsewhere can take up to a minute to notice. Nothing new can be started in that window, and it does not delay the deletion of your data.
Who is responsible, and how to reach us
The LifeStore is operated by Shuunnya Private Limited (under incorporation). A data-protection contact / Grievance Officer and a Nodal Officer are being appointed, and their contact details will be published on the Grievance page before the LifeStore goes live. In the meantime, reach us at mail@shuunnya.com or through the LifeStore's WhatsApp enquiry.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the LifeStore evolves. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version; where a change is material, we will let you know.
