Details
A straight kurta in 140 GSM handloom cotton woven in Erode, Tamil Nadu. Erode cotton is a clean, dense plain weave in 40s yarn, the kind of cloth that takes daily wear and daily washing without thinning at the shoulders. Mandarin collar, five-button placket, two side pockets and a chest pocket, with side slits cut high enough that you can sit cross-legged. Azo-free reactive dye. The white and cream shades will not bleed at all, the indigo and maroon give up a little on the first two washes. Pre-shrunk, under 2 percent residual, so buy your usual size.
