Details
A straight-cut kurta in 120 GSM handloom cotton, woven on pit looms in Bhuj, Kachchh. The yarn is a medium 40s count, so the cloth stays crisp for a season and then softens without going limp. The colour is natural indigo. Indigo gives up a little colour for the first two washes, which is how you know it is the real vat and not a print. Wash it alone the first time and it settles. The cut is true to Indian sizing, straight through the body with deep side slits, and the fabric is pre-shrunk so the fit you try on is the fit you keep.
