Details
Training trousers in 200 gsm cotton ripstop with a four percent elastane content. Ripstop carries a heavier thread every 6 mm in a grid, so a small tear stops at the next grid line instead of running the length of the leg. That is worth more in a training trouser than any amount of stretch. The crotch is a diamond gusset, one square panel set on the diagonal, so there is no four-seam junction sitting where you squat. That junction is the single most common blowout in track pants. Both side pockets zip on YKK number 3 coils, and the back pocket does too. The waist drawcord runs through a channel with two open eyelets, so it can be pulled out and replaced with any 4 mm cord. It is the part that always frays first.
