Bearing Skipping Rope

Details

A speed rope on two sealed ball bearings, one per handle, in machined aluminium handles. Bushing ropes bind as they wear and the spin gets rough within a few months. A sealed bearing keeps the same spin from the first week to the last. The cable is 2.5 mm steel wire in a PVC jacket, and it is the only consumable in the product. It clamps at each end with a grub screw and a 1.5 mm hex key, so a frayed cable is a thirty second job, not a new rope. Two spare cables come in the box and more are posted free for three years. Handles are knurled aluminium with no foam grip, because foam grips absorb sweat, harden and then crumble.
