Rechargeable Trail Headlamp

A 350 lumen headlamp running on a single 18650 lithium cell that you can take out and replace. Most rechargeable lamps seal the battery in, so the lamp dies when the cell does, usually after about three years of charge cycles. This one takes a standard cell available in any electronics shop, and charges over USB-C with the cell in place. Runtime is quoted to the point where output drops to 10 percent, not to the point where the light goes out. On the 350 lumen high setting that is 4 hours, on the 90 lumen medium setting 14 hours, and on the 15 lumen low setting 60 hours. A red mode at 3 lumens keeps night vision in a tent. The housing is IPX6, so it takes heavy rain and a splash, not immersion. The strap is a 25 mm washable cotton blend, removable, and the tilt bracket runs on a metal pin rather than a plastic tooth.
