The five things that actually keep leather alive, and nothing else. A horsehair dauber for applying, a larger horsehair brush for buffing, a neutral cream to feed the hide, a hard wax for the toe and heel, and a cotton flannel cloth. All of it in a waxed canvas roll with a leather tie. The cream is beeswax, carnauba and lanolin in a light mineral oil base, uncoloured, so it works on tan, brown, black and undyed veg-tan without changing the shade. Colour creams are useful once you have a specific pair to match, and they are the first thing that goes wrong in a starter kit, so this one leaves them out. The tins are 50 ml steel with a screw lid, and we sell refills. A shoe care kit that has to be bought again as a whole kit is a badly designed kit.
