Details
A 55 x 35 x 22 cm cabin trolley built on a bolted aluminium frame rather than a moulded plastic shell. A shell case is one part, so when a corner cracks the case is finished. A frame case is an assembly, so a cracked corner is one bolt-off part. The shell panels are 2.5 mm polycarbonate, the frame is 6063 aluminium extrusion, and the two are joined with stainless machine screws you can reach with a 3 mm hex key. Wheels are 60 mm double spinners on sealed bearings, each held by one screw. The telescopic handle is a two-stage aluminium tube with a serviceable release cartridge. Every one of those parts is stocked as a spare for ten years, listed with its own part number in the manual. That is the whole argument for buying this instead of a sealed case.
