Details

Cashew from the Vengurla belt of Sindhudurg on the Konkan coast, where sea air gives the kernel its particular creaminess. Single-season nuts, sun-dried in the shell, steam-conditioned, then cut and peeled by hand so the kernel stays whole. We do not buy imported raw nut and re-process it, which is how most cashew sold in India is actually made.

  • Indian raw nut only, traceable to the Vengurla belt
  • Grade W240: 240 to 260 whole ivory kernels per kilo
  • Hand-peeled, so kernels stay whole instead of splitting
  • No added oil, salt or sugar coating
  • No sulphur used to hold the colour
  • Raw and unroasted, so it works in a curry paste or straight from the jar
