Details
Grown in the rain-fed almond orchards of Pulwama and Budgam, where the trees live on snowmelt and winter rain. These are mamra kernels: dense, slightly curved, uneven in size. A kilo counts fewer nuts than a plump imported almond, but each one carries more oil, more sweetness and a cleaner snap. Shelled by hand, dried in open sun on cloth, graded by size, and then left alone.
