Details

From Apis cerana indica colonies kept between 1,800 and 2,400 metres in the Kumaon hills, where the bees work rhododendron, oak, wild cherry and hill mustard through the season. The comb is cold-extracted, strained through a steel mesh to take out wax and bee parts, and bottled. Nothing is heated above 40 degrees C, nothing is pasteurised, nothing is ultra-filtered.

  • No added sugar, jaggery syrup, rice syrup or corn syrup
  • Never pasteurised and never ultra-filtered, so the pollen is still in it
  • Tested per lot for C3 and C4 sugar adulteration, with the report on file
  • Single-region, not a blend of collected lots from several states
  • It will crystallise in winter, which is what raw honey does. Warm the jar in water, do not microwave
  • Colour and taste change lot to lot with the flowering. This is not a fault
