Details
Sized for the bread actually sold in India, which is thicker and wider than the slice a standard toaster slot was drawn for. The slots are 36 mm wide with a self centring carriage, so a thick slice browns evenly on both faces instead of scorching one. Seven browning levels are set by a dial with detents, so level four is level four every morning, not a guess on a smooth slider.
- 36 mm wide slots with a self centring carriage
- Seven browning levels on a detented dial, plus reheat, defrost and cancel
- Full width crumb tray that slides out, so crumbs do not sit on the element
- Stainless housing, cool touch ends, 850 W
- Elements, carriage spring, lever and crumb tray are stocked service parts, spares held 5 years
- 2 years comprehensive, 3 years separately on the heating elements
- Left out: no glued housing, no plastic slot liner, no smooth slider that loses its setting
