Details
The same build as the 5 star unit with a smaller heat exchanger and a lower ISEER, and it exists for one honest reason. A 5 star air conditioner costs about Rs 8000 more and saves close to Rs 2200 a season at heavy use, so it repays in under four years in a bedroom. In a guest room or a study run two hours a day the saving falls to around Rs 700 a season and the payback stretches past eleven years, which is longer than the machine. Buy the 3 star there.
