Details
A front load machine with a direct drive inverter motor bolted straight to the drum. No belt to slip, no pulley to wear, fewer parts to fail. Sixteen programmes, including a 30 minute quick wash that is the one most weekday loads actually need, and a monthly drum clean cycle that keeps the gasket from turning sour in humid weather. At 5 star it uses about 0.68 units on a full cotton load at 40 C, close to Rs 5.50 a wash, and around 52 litres of water.

- Inbuilt heater to 90 C, with a descale programme sized for hard Indian water
