Details
The water path is stainless steel from the element plate to the spout, including the lid seal and the filter. There is no plastic anywhere the boiling water reaches, which is the point of the design and the reason it costs a little more than the plain kettle beside it. The outer body stays cool enough to hold. A 1.5 L boil takes 5 minutes 40 seconds and about 0.14 units, close to Rs 1.10.
