Details
Two scrubbers, both without plastic. The coir pad is coconut husk fibre bound with a natural latex, firm enough for a burnt tawa and safe on seasoned cast iron. The steel spiral is a single ribbon of stainless wound tight, for the pressure cooker base and the kadhai. Neither sheds microplastic into the drain, which the green foam sponge does with every wash.
- Coir pads: coconut husk fibre, no plastic mesh, compost them at the end
- Steel spirals: stainless ribbon, rustless, will not leave grey marks
- Safe on cast iron seasoning, which a synthetic scourer strips
- Coir lasts about six weeks of daily washing, steel about six months
