Details

The three-fruit powder that has been kept in Indian kitchens for a very long time. Amla, bibhitaki and haritaki, dried whole, stone removed, and stone-ground in equal parts. That is the entire ingredient list. No flour, no starch, no anti-caking agent and no sweetener, which is what separates a real triphala from most of the packets sold loose.

  • Equal parts by weight, the traditional 1:1:1
  • Fruit only, stones removed before grinding
  • Ground slowly on stone, so the powder is not heat-damaged
  • No fillers, no anti-caking agent, no sugar, no added colour
  • Traditionally half a teaspoon in warm water at night
  • Amber glass jar. A herbal food, not a medicine. Ask your doctor before taking it if you are pregnant, nursing or on regular medication
