Ashwagandha has been taken in Indian households for generations, usually at night with warm milk. Most capsules on sale today are made from a mix of leaf and root because leaf is cheaper. Ours is root only, which is the part that tradition actually used. Each capsule carries 500 mg of a water-extracted root extract, standardised so that every batch delivers the same 5 percent withanolides.
