Details
A hardbound A5 notebook built around one decision: the paper comes first. 100 gsm uncoated cream stock takes fountain pen, gel and ballpoint ink without bleeding to the reverse, so both sides of every leaf are usable. A test sheet is bound at the back so you can check it yourself before you commit the first page. Sixteen page signatures are thread sewn into a cloth lined spine. That is why it lies open at any page and stays open while you write, and why it will not shed leaves in year three. The board cover is wrapped in dyed cotton cloth and blind debossed, with no film to lift at the corners after a monsoon.
