Details
A stapler with no plastic in the load path. Pressed steel body, a hardened steel anvil and a spring rated for a hundred thousand strokes. The two things that kill an office stapler are a cracked plastic magazine and a bent anvil, so both are steel here and both come off with a screwdriver. The base plate unscrews, so the anvil can be turned or replaced rather than the whole tool thrown out, and the spring is a standard size. It staples flat or pins, set by turning the anvil.
