Details
Most school geometry sets fail at the compass, because the hinge loosens and the circle wanders. This one has a knurled steel centre wheel that locks the radius and a hardened point that does not blunt, so a Class 6 student and a Class 12 student can use the same instrument. The set holds a 150 mm ruler, a 180 degree protractor and two set squares, all in cast acrylic with laser cut graduations rather than printed ones, so the markings cannot rub off. Everything sits in a hinged tin, not a snapping plastic case.
