The heavy paper journal, for people who write with wet ink or draw on the page. 120 gsm uncoated stock, sized so the ink sits on the surface rather than feathering into it. A broad fountain nib, a brush pen and a light watercolour wash all stay on their own side of the leaf. Nothing shows through. The dot grid is printed at 5 mm in a pale warm grey that photographs and scans out of the way, so your writing is what reads. Sewn in signatures with a cloth spine, so it opens flat for a two page spread without being pressed.
