Details
Bookshelves fail in one place, the middle of the shelf, and they fail because the shelf is 16 mm board resting on four pins. These shelves are 25 mm solid mango wood housed in dado joints cut into the uprights, so the load goes into the side panel and not into a peg. Each shelf carries 30 kg without a measurable sag. The back is a solid slatted panel, not a 3 mm hardboard sheet stapled on.
