Details
A dining table in solid Indian rosewood, sheesham, with a 40 mm top made of jointed planks rather than a veneer over board. The legs meet the apron with a drawbored mortise and tenon, the joint that has held Indian furniture together for centuries and can be knocked apart and reglued if it ever loosens. The finish is a matte polyurethane over an oil sealer, which takes the tea spills that a wax finish will not.
