Details
A large square of double-gauze cotton muslin, 110 cm on each side, which is the size that actually works for a swaddle rather than the size that fits a smaller box. Open weave, so it breathes in heat and still holds warmth when doubled. It starts as a swaddle, then becomes a pram cover, a feeding cover, a burp cloth, a floor sheet and eventually a comfort cloth that cannot be replaced. Muslin gets softer every single wash.

Using it
- Swaddle
- Snug across the chest, loose at the hips so the legs can bend and open
